Cologne's trade fairs take place at the Koelnmesse exhibition centre in Cologne-Deutz, run by Koelnmesse GmbH. According to Koelnmesse, the grounds have 11 connected trade fair halls plus 100,000 m² of adjacent outdoor area — almost 400,000 m² of exhibition space and outdoor area in total — along with the Confex conference and exhibition centre and two congress centres. Koelnmesse's calendar includes Anuga, gamescom, imm cologne, interzum, IDS, ISM, ORGATEC and spoga+gafa; announced 2027 dates include IDS (16–20 March), interzum (11–14 May) and Anuga (9–13 October). VAV Grup designs and builds custom stands for exhibitors at Cologne shows in its own 6,000 m² factory in İkitelli OSB, Istanbul, and supports German projects from its local base in Hannover.
