İFM says its fairs occupy around 96,000 m² of the İDTM complex in Istanbul and host close to 100 fairs a year. Tüyap's venue page lists 14 exhibition halls in Büyükçekmece with 120,000 m² enclosed (of which a net 62,000 m² can be used for fair set-up), 25,000 m² open and 145,000 m² in total, fuarizmir 78,750 m² gross enclosed area in four halls, and ATO Congresium in Ankara 10,000 m² of exhibition space within 80,000 m² of usable area. Major fairs include IDEF, the Istanbul Furniture Fair, WIN EURASIA, Automechanika Istanbul, Yapı Fuarı – Turkeybuild and WorldFood Istanbul.

- Tüyap Istanbul: per the Tüyap exhibitor handbook, stands up to 4.5 m high are approved by an architect or interior architect; single-storey stands over 4.5 m, all two-storey stands and complex structures must be approved by a chartered civil engineer (SİM); upload the architectural project to the MyTüyap portal.
- Tüyap Istanbul: nothing may be hung from or attached to the hall ceiling or roof structure; gypsum- and cement-derived boards and thinner-based paints are not allowed in the halls.
- İFM rules are set by each fair organiser, not the venue – e.g. the Istanbul Hardware Fair 2026 organiser allows approved projects up to 4 m (two-storey 4.5 m), unapproved stands 2.5 m, projects at least 15 days before the fair; no painting and nothing hung from ceiling elements.
- Check each organiser's technical conditions – in Türkiye stand rules are published per fair, not only per venue.
- Foreign exhibitors bringing exhibits into Türkiye can use an ATA Carnet; TOBB is the Turkish guaranteeing association.
- Stands are built locally in Istanbul, so there is no international freight for fairs at İFM or Tüyap.
